The half-able Court Wizard Questor Thews was sure he could restore the Court Scribe Abernathy to human form. His spell had changed him into a Wheaton Terrier with human hands and voice. All went well until the wizard caught a whiff of the spell's magic dust and sneezed. Suddenly, where Abernathy had been was only a bottle holding a rather evil imp. The bottle came from the collection of former King, Michel Ard Rhi, now exiled to earth. High Lord Ben Holiday returns to Earth with his green skinned love Willow to find the scribe. In their absence the imp joins the witch Nightshade turning Landover toward chaos. Questor knows only he can set things right. But he will need help from magic stronger than his own, and that leaves only the dragon Strabo.
